Spokane Valley is a great city in which to reside. Its emergence from a 19th century farming and mining community to an incorporated city in March of 2003 is evidence of the city’s commitment to long-term growth. The city’s Beautification Projects have placed a tremendous emphasis on Spokane Valley’s park system. The result has been a complete refurbishment plan for Valley Mission Park, as well as pool renovations for each of the city’s three swimming pool plunges: Valley Mission, Terrace View, and Park Road. Additionally, the city is updating all signage in its parks to make the many trails easier to navigate.

The City of Spokane Valley is comprised of family-friendly residential neighborhoods, clean and safe schools and parks, and attractive public spaces for all to enjoy.
